I love the curry's at Dower House! I visited on a Thursday night recently, a small group of 3, around 18:45, there were a few tables available and it filled up towards 8pm. I booked online and it took 24 hours before they replied. So I'd say if you wanted to make sure you're booked in contact the restaurant and book . You enter through the side door and arrive at a check in desk, if nobody is there continue through and left onto the bar and they'll seat you from there. A nice pint of kingfisher We had a couple of poppadoms each and a pickle tray, it was all really fresh and the lime pickle was easily the best I've had in ages! I had Chicken Dansak for main, a nice sweet curry and some pilau rice and a garlic chapati (not on the menu but they were happy to make it it was really garlicky It all tasted great We all had a starter and a main, 1 garlic naan, 1 rice 1 chapati 2 pints 1 pint of coke and we had white coffees to finish. It came to just over £100 which I felt was reasonable for the quality and service. The place was clean and tidy and the staff were all friendly My photos didn't come out very well, I only managed the starter! Pakora photo, which tasted great. I can't wait to go back again Parking: 2 3 pounds for a few hours, card or cash at the pay machine Wheelchair accessibility: Access into the restaurant seemed ok, but please not this when you're booking. I'm not sure if there is a downstairs toilet, there may be for disabled.
