Oventhutte - Donaueschingen

The restaurant Oeventhuette is approx. 3-4 km outside Donaueschingen. The locals had recommended it and also explained the location adjacent to a golf course; we found it easy and were not disappointed. We have a table on the open terrace, ordered a summer salad with Chanterelles and a steak with vegetables; both dishes were perfect. The service was attentive and very friendly. I read the reviews days after we were there and have to say that, unlike the comments of some reviewers, we found the portions absolutely sufficient, delicious food and excellent service.

Very beautiful location; sat at excellent weather on the terrace in front of the hut. eat fine, but service worthy of improvement. unfortunately had to wait very long until the food was served. if you bring enough time, very good price/performance ratio.

We were in the hut with 5 people and had a really good meal which was also top in the price-performance ratio. the original ambiente makes this locally something special. also with the service we were very pleased to be able to sit outside for warm weather, as the beer garden is beautiful.

Great and rustic locationso a cozy and rustic restaurant in alpen style - I like very well eating and the service are very goodalso a birthday party in closed society I can recommend really topauch the location is super, ideal for walking or hiking in summer you can also use the beautiful terrace of the öventhütte

Were to complete a meeting with a large group in the rustic hut. service at the beginning a little slow. eat - especially the gulasch - class!
