I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! It was my first time visiting today, and everything is made fresh. Be prepared to either dine in or wait a bit for your food, but I really appreciate the freshness. The portions are generous enough to feed two people. I ordered the fried dumplings and a delicious combination lo mein. I definitely recommend trying this kind of food! View all feedback.
What Lauren Small doesn't like about Hot Wok:
NEW CUSTOMER!!! ONE TIME CUSTOMER!!!Called to order to go could barely understand the lady. Asked her to repeat herself and she started getting an attitude. Didn’t ask for my name. Had to ask multiple times how long should I wait. And didn’t even bother to give me a total. Not a good way to gain new clientele ? View all feedback.
**Wheelchair Accessibility:** There is wheelchair access right at the front door. **Dietary Restrictions:** They offer a diet menu.
Consistently good and best Chinese food in town. Sometimes the wait is a bit longer than expected. My usual order consist of house special lo mein, fried rice with chicken on the stick, Singapore mai fun, a roast pork in curry sauce, and house special fried rice.
The more often I visit, the nicer the staff becomes. I always enjoy dining here and appreciate their consistently excellent food.

I discovered Hot Wok a few years ago and make it a point to eat there whenever I'm in Donaldsonville. The restaurant doesn’t have a buffet; it’s one of those places where you order and then they cook your food. The menu is extensive, offering plenty of choices. They have a lunch special that runs from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Recently, they’ve also started allowing dine-in, not just takeout. The food is excellent, and since it’s cooked after you order, it’s always hot. There may be a short wait, but it's definitely worth it. The portions are generous—I'm quite a big eater, yet I often can't finish my meal. The egg rolls are decent, but nothing extraordinary. I have witnessed the owner being rude to some customers, though she has always been nice to me. Ultimately, if you're looking for good Chinese cuisine in the area, I would highly recommend giving Hot Wok a try. The food is definitely worth it!
