Very inconsistent. There are times the food is awesome. Then, there are times the food is absolutely terrible. The fried chicken is great when it's good, but a waste of money when it's bad. Seasonings range from salty, to perfect, to diabetic chef. It's your choice...just pray for a good day in the kitchen! View all feedback.

Wow… this is THE BEST fried chicken. Got some great cornbread too. Food comes out quick hot and ready. The chicken has a good kick to it. Good workers. All in all a very good trip. Will be going again
Stopped in for Shoe Soles while in Donaldsonville. Got gingerbread cake and a brownie too. Great sweets.
I ordered the fish and shrimp combo plate. It was delicious. I will visit again.
My late father, Frank, managed here for many years. It will always be a fond childhood memory of him and his chicken shack. Afte4 all these years of living out of reach, The food tastes just like when I was young.
