we loved the atmosphere and eat it very much. we think it tastes a little different than the other Indian restaurant (jasmin) on the island, but was just as delicous. they have a potato-nan-bread that does not have jasmin and its amazing! we believe that the overcoming is a little nicer both are cheap. (15000 kip for a curry) the personal is verry sweet and made everything vegan to an almost oil-free for us. View all feedback.
Found chicken and pork gristle in paneer dishes on the veggie menu, I understand that sometimes this is inevitable in SE Asia but the boss refused to accept there was meat and threw us out claiming we just wanted a free meal.
Amazing food, I had veggie samosas and rooti one night, and Chicken Tikka masala with Naan one day for lunch, all so good! And cheap! The owner is really friendly and welcoming: definitely recommend.
You can make large vegan foods and can use less oil on request. Great way to ETA healthier while traveling. 10/10 The women are beautiful who works there.
I was surprised to find many Indian restaurants in Southern Laos: 3 in Pakse, 2 in Don Det and 1 in Don Kong. Nice food, reasonable prices. Only 2 things upset me: no mushrooms masala/tikka and paneer is made of tofu, means not real paneer as it has to be, but still ok.
We ordered the vegetarian meals because it's an Indian and vegetarian should mean without meat. The samoas arrived and had no meat in them, they were huge and delicious. The two main dishes that we ordered contained pork gristle and shredded chicken. When questioned about the meat in the vegetable options the owner became irrate. He threatened to break A glass bottle on me before claiming that we had only claimed there was meat in the dishes so we could get it free. We asked each other if there was meat, before being kicked out by the owner, despite offering to pay for the drinks and food we had consumed. Do not eat here
