The restaurant is perched up high, so we had views of the lush tropical canopies. We also got to see beautiful birds. We went midday on a Friday, and it was not crowded at all.

The location is super nice as well, however we much preferred smaller, cozier bars and restaurants. It reminded me of a bar in the states.

When you walk to the tabl... read more Lots of parking, great ambience, wonderful views, gorgeous building a tree across the dirt road from us had no less than four iguanas! When you walk to the tables they have clear glass under your feet to view the brewery! Our server was disappointing. Not rude, yet short and when we asked for ketchup, said abruptly ‘it is on its way’ which ended up being almost 5 minutes later and our food was cooling down. Our spring water came in a lovely bottle. Costa Rica seems to be known for this beautiful touch. Our server never asked if we wanted another drink I had white wine, husband had a margarita etc., either. We were not even completely done eating when he asked if we were done and take our dishes. Not a lot of variety on the menu I have a severe allergy to fish and almost all dishes were fish. Two chicken dishes, one had cheese allergic to a milk protein. My husband loved his fish. We would go back for a drink and the ambience over going back for food.

Really chill vibe, tremendous selection of beer choices, excellent service, great decor, cool artwork, open-air and can hear the surf on a good day! Popped in for breakfast beer (opens at 07:00, great way to get pura vida day drinking started! and had the waffles which are frankly some of the best we’ve ever had! Juicy IPA is light and fruity, very refreshing and prolly better start than orange juice anyways! Session is definitely drinkable all day. ¡Mucho Gusto Fuego!
