We ended up here one evening after our Tousanticovid apps wouldn't work at Express Pizza down the road. They worked fine here and we were treated to a lovely meal. I'd recommend the burger Normande which was superb. Friendly hosts/service and really, really good food. View all feedback.
What john c doesn't like about The Grill:
Booked a table for 7.30pm. Ordered soup to start with. Soup arrived 45 minutes later, after a least four tables who arrived after me were served with their main meal. Asked where the soup had got to and after a good five minutes it arrived. The menu said it was a vegetable soup but it was pureed and none descript in taste. The main course of pork loin, black pudding and home made sausage however was very good and very... View all feedback.
Good reception, homemade meals, high quality grilled dishes at affordable prices. It's ****. Thank you.
Welcome. We didn't book. but excellent meal with fresh and grilled products at the top....all for a very correct price. fast service, very good hygiene, I recommend.
Our first dining experience since moving to France was very disappointing. If you are vegetarian there are only two options, veg soup which was tepid, and a cheese and tomato gallete. Extensive menu with too many meat options and hard to navigate, although English was added in small in the descriptions which was helpful. When food came out it was a child’s portion in size. Two little sausages with a small basket of fries which was half filled. Not a feast for the eyes. Salmon was lovely with jacket potato but again nothing else on the plate to make this a filling or satisfying meal. Does not cater for vegans. We were hungry when we left and will not recommend this to friends. The grill need to revise their menu, slim it down and add several options for vegetarians and vegans to fall in line with current trends in meat free cuisines and tastes. Staff were lovely though. The building from the outside is beautiful but sadly doesn’t reflect the meal we had.
Our group of eight met for dinner early in their normal dinner service. The connection between chef and service is quite poor, and the starters came at different times or not at all. Even the soup starter was microwaved so scalding hot as to not be able to be eaten straight away. Portion size is small, and generally overcooked with no presentation whatsoever. Even if the food were better, the service leaves you wishing you’d gone somewhere else.
Le Grill is one of our favourite restaurants. They are open every evening, which is a bonus. Great food and pleasant staff.
