Chandan Meat Rice Dhaba - Dolmar

This is a road side dhaba on the way to Nainital in a village called Naina and is below the main road. It is an old and rusty place so please don't go with high hopes on ambience and hygiene. Only 2 food options available which is Meat Rice or Rajma Rice. Both comes in half plate and full plate options. Half Plate option is enough for a decent lunch. Meat is bhuna mutton cooked in huge Brass vessel on coal fire. Good thing is they give 4-5 decent meat pieces in half plate and meat is well cooked with very thin gravy. Timings are from 12:30 PM till food lasts which is around 4PM I would say.

A must try if you are a mutton lover, the mutton cooked over wooden logs in a handi gives an earthly and woody flavour to the food which is tenderly cooked with all the indigenous spices of the hills.
