Madisons New York Grill & Bar

I went to this restaurant many times, but tonight, it was a big deception. Ordered a salmon tartar, no taste to it. The rusks served with it seemed to have been on the counter for a day or two, the where hard and full of humidity at the same time. As per the chicken and avocado salad that my friend took, the portion was a lot smaller than it use to be, the salad was old and not fresh, they took out the parmesan bread they use to put on the salad, all that for the same price. Very deceiving, I don't think all go there again :(

I love this restaurant. Always friendly staff, incredible food. Disagree with those who say the food is too pricy. It costs exactly what it's worth; and the food is absolutely fantastic. If you're around the west island and looking for good food and a good time...this is the place to go!

I am unable to rate the food at this restaurant because we chose to leave after 20 minutes of being ignored. I realize that the restaurant was very busy, and we were able to be seated right away, but after the waiter brought our water, we did not see him ever again. Actually I could see him in the distance waiting on other tables, but he must have forgotten to come back to us! Apparently our table was in an area that he does not normally serve. During the 20 minutes we waited, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt -- but it soon became clear it was to no avail. It was surprising that another waiter who was serving two tables right nearby walked past us at least 5 times. I didn't expect him to wait on us, but I know he saw us sitting there with our menus closed each time he walked by. At least he could have acknowledged us and offer to check on our waiter for us. When the hostess saw us leaving, she looked perplexed. After I explained why, she didn't say much. There was no offer to get the manager or try to remedy the situation. Why bother to seat people when they can't be served?We found another restaurant nearby where we really felt our presence was appreciated. It was obvious that this wait staff all worked as a team and sincerely valued their customers, unlike Madison's. There are enough other restaurants in the area to not bother giving this one another try.

We had the Madison's cheese burger and the Manhattan burger. It was delicious ! With a great service !

Food here is very good but the service is painfully slow. Don't go if you're in any kind of time crunch. Good for family or friends, adults and children alike.
