T... read more We come here every year since they opened 5 years ago, when we are on Holiday in France. It's always something we look out for and we were never disappointed. The food is delicious en so beautiful presented and the staff is very friendly. We like to sit outside, it is not a large terrace, in a small street but it's cozy and clean. We think everything on the menu in worth trying, you'll be surprised !

We seemed to be the only tourists among many locals always a good sign) However, even speaking French it took us multiple requests to get water, as we watched tables being set for the next day. Our only complaint would be to pay more attention to the guests you have than those who may or may not arrive tomorrow. We would recommend this place and would return.

The children's m... read more This restaurant is fabulous for adults and children. We visited as a family of four adults and three children and were WOWed by the experience. The children's meals were so healthy not at all the usual rubbish. They had a perfectly cooked fresh piece of fish and mashed potatoes (a wonderful change from battered bites and frites/chips) Also the adults' meals were first class. Following the main course were several fabulous desserts which thrilled the children and adults again. The owner was very knowledgable and helpful with wine choices and offered us free tasting of some. The service was excellent all round.

The snail and lentil soup is particularly worth mentioning here. The souffle is unbeatable. Tip: Café Gourmand comes with a mini version of the soufflé, for those who don't dare to try the full desert.
