Every time when I am in this region for business, I try to have lunch at this local restaurant. You eat here one of the best home made pasta (with funghi mushrooms) and also their tagliata di manzo (sliced steak) is an absolute must.
I was there for a business lunch several times, and each single one was excellent. They have their home-made fettuccine al ragù which stands out. Also other dishes are excellent. I suggest tagliata di tonno (tuna-fish tagliata) or grilled calamari. Beef tagliata is alo very good, tender and tasty. Try it if you are near-by!
I went to Croce d'Oro alone. The owners gave me a warm welcome. The lady spoke very good English, even as a waitress. She explained the menu very good. I chose the carpaccio and the tagliatelle with rabbit and some other meat. It tasted very good, really. Also the desert, simple but tasteful! The only thing was, I was out of the restaurant within a hour. It was a quick, but very good dinner
