The highlight was the smoked fish they have fresh every Thursday. Also the wine list ist very reasonable priced. A great find and definitely worth a little detour if you are in the area. Don't miss that. I will be back there next time I am in this area.

The ma... read more My restaurant discovery of the year: in Dohna, just a few kilometres from the gates of Dresden, the Ratskeller has a new operator and the chef excellent. The map is seasonal, we ordered (now at Christmas time) wild and poultry dishes and were delighted by the exceptionally fine preparation. No taste, but concentration on selected, fresh and aromatic ingredients and a tastefully and optically harmonious composition. Everything very, very fine and worth every cent. The operation is accommodating and flink. The ambience is stylish without denying the rat cellar. A great place that is worth a trip to Dohna and surroundings.
