It's one of the oldest buildings around, two fortified towere, has a Wikipedia article and is open to the public to explore. So in that way it's almost completely unique in Doha. However it's been recently rebuilt to the extent that you can't tell that its old and it's also absolutely covered in bird poop. Also there's zero information on site about its history or that of the area. View all feedback.
One of the historical sites in katar, which is still maintained by Katar Museum. they are built watchtowers in the 19th century. the historical location is located in the city and is very accessible. when entering yourself, there will be a leader who will show them around the place.
Fascinating architectural style though constructed in recent times. It would have been even better if the towers had been open to climb to the top.
Several old houses repurposed into museums that tell the story of various aspects of Doha before oil and wealth, including of slavery. Very well done.
Good for one time visit. Historical place with good architecture. No parking place available there. Good for explorers.
The historical site barzan towers with fascinating unique arabian architecture, an archaeological castle, remembrance of old defense methods in katar beautiful place to visit. excellent unique structure, they value the time spent when in katar a visit in the barzan towers is a must!
