I'm sorry for Uwe. Saturday afternoon. Many others are on the couch. And Uwe's alone in the store. In a full shop!! But he was simple and friendly. It took time for a little chat. I think he's happier than the farmer's role. A visit is definitely worth it. Great cake. Great ambience. We're coming back! View all feedback.
Who does not know him, the gentle pig farmer Uwe and his iris, who met and loved at RTL in the seventh season of the well-known “Bauer sucht Frau” series in 2011. After a distance relationship spanning about 800 km between him and his great love, his wife Iris decided in 2013 to give up her past life in Munich and to move to Bauer Uwe to his farm in Dötlingen. In the same year the 'Bauer is looking for woman' cult couple gave the yes word. On his farm in Dötlingen, which the family of Uwe Abel has been cultivating in the fifth generation, the two opened their own farm café in 2014: in 'Bauer Uwes Lütje Deel ' they have been serving their café visitors. (Source RTL Bauer Uwes Lutje Deel Since my girls are absolute fans of this annual series, it was clear for me already last year that we have to visit this café once. Last year, however, it was still closed due to the Corona aftermath, but this year I saw my chance come. Since the café now has only weekends open in winter, I telephoned with Uwe personally and reserved a table in his little court café for us three. Of course I didn't tell my girls about it. So I asked them to drive on Sunday after lunch, because the journey from Cuxhaven, our winter holiday area, to Bauer Uwes Lütje Deel should take 1.5 h. What you don't do is love. My girls knew nothing. They were only stubbornly narrower than the streets, the housing became less and less. No wonder the farmer Uwe had found in this (single area no woman). so you will not receive on the road that you overlook it in the desert; After many fields I then saw the great farm of Bauer Uwe, and I could park our car on the farm. At this time, the farm was already parked relatively fully with many cars. There were others who had this idea. Most car numbers were locals, so Bauer Uwe seems to be popular here. The way to the parking lot From its former big pig breeding is no longer much to see. A small pig farm with a few pigs can be visited by a large glass pane, the rest is rebuilt and serves today as a horse board. A part of his pasture is used in summer as a camper's car park, which gets good reviews on the net. My wife still hadn't gotten where we were, our big daughter had a broad grin on the face. Even the big court shield didn't bring the enlightenment, she didn't expect it at all. But slowly it sounded, and even her smile became more and more broad. Puh, everything done right, the long trip was worth it. Now we went to the café, which was a part of the big barn. Here Bauer Uwe personally greeted us and led us to our reserved table. A lucky thing I had reserved was the café filled to the last place. all over the old work wonderful rustic As already said, the café is a part of the former barn, the work and the rustic ceiling remained and were integrated in the guest room. A cozy fireplace heated the café and on cosy chairs and on large tables you could sit very comfortably and comfortably. cozy fireplace in the guest room view in the guest room The chairs were divided into padded artificial leather chairs or basket chairs with a seat. Behind our table was the big counter with a cake lining, behind it was the small open kitchen. An elderly lady, long in retirement age, helped Bauer Uwe manage the café today. In the chilled cake rack, there were five different homemade cakes available today. Bauer accepted our order and tapped it with his huge hands into an even more huge tablet. We opted for: · 1x Cappuccino for 3,40 € · 1x Latte Macchiato for 3,80 € · 1x chocolate (cococoa with cream for 3,80 € As cake we wish: · 1x Ostfriesentorte for 4,40 € · 1x Mandarine Quark cake for 4,40 € · 1x Blaubeer cream cake for 4,40 € Long we did not wait for our order. While Bauer Uwe made the coffees in the small kitchen, the older lady behind the counter finished our cakes. So we had cakes and coffee in place after about 5 minutes. The drinks were typical coffee drinks from a good screen printing machine. The cakes should all be baked by themselves, and I would say so they tasted. • 1x Cappuccino for 3,40 € • 1x Latte Macchiato for 3,80 € • 1x chocolate (cocao with cream for 3,80 € My wife had opted for the Ostfriesentorte and that had it in itself. Three layers of fluffy, soft tortoise dough, in between solid, not too sweet cream, which were spit with quite strong alcohol (I would say rum inlaid raisins. Holla, here's two pieces of the cake. When Bauer Uwe came by the table and asked if it tasted, we told him that, and his broad grinned almost everything already said, but he only meant that they had long enough winter over in high percentage. Ostfriesentorte Usre Groß had opted for the blueberry cream cake. This was also made from three layers of the fluffy cake vinegar and the same cream. Here, however, fresh, large blueberries were processed instead of the raisins. Blueberry Cream Torte Blueberry Cream Torte Since we all wanted to taste each one, I chose the Mandarine Quark Torte. This was constructed differently than the other two cakes. A not too thick, fluffy soil, on top a thicker layer of a Mandarin Quark layer. This was also pleasantly firm and not sweet. I'm lucky, because all too sweet things are not my thing. Mandarine Quark Torte After an hour we were finished, and wanted to return to the homeway towards holiday home. And if we're here, my girls wanted to have a selfie with Bauer Uwe, which, of course, got them quickly despite a full café. Selfie with Bauer Uwe So once we were with Bauer looking for Ms. Darling Uwe ́s Café. We got to know Uwe as hearty and happy people, although in the net some criticisms stand that he would be cool and superb. We could not confirm that. Oh and Iris was there, of course. She had been talking to guests at a table.... Our conclusion: we left €24.20 in 'Bauer Uwes Lütje Deel' and were satisfied with service as well as the delicious homemade cakes. Even if the farm is at the end of the world, and here Fox and Hase say good night, the trip was worth it. Because of the bright faces of my two girls.
Excellent small dish cafe with very tasty homemade cakes and cakes. Very friendly staff and the boss himself, serving the customer. If you spend more time playing for coffee and another round of peasant golf to cake.
Yeah, our star of Bauer is looking for a woman, right? Definitely more than 5 stars! We have rarely eaten such a delicious homemade cake and cake, even repeater with a 2nd piece of choice. The location is more than cozy. On the farm you can see everything, pigs, goats, sheds. Just beautiful. We were lucky because the Uwe, his Iris and, of course, the wife of Mom were there because they had to pack up to help the two girls get back. If you plan a visit there, call and book the best.
Today we were with four adults and two small children in Lütjen Deel. We were served quickly and very friendly and the homemade cake was excellent! Also the premises are very nice, it even burned a fire in the fireplace. How to get back?
