You can certainly get more expensive and solid food elsewhere, but I doubt whether it is any better on the plate. There are parking spaces in front of the house. We'll definitely be back.

You immediately feel at h... read more The Gasthof Sörmitz is a truly wonderful place to stop for anyone who enjoys traditional German cuisine or wants to try something new! You immediately feel at home there, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, just as you'd expect from a traditional inn. The food was fantastic! Everything was freshly prepared, incredibly delicious, and plentiful. There were two of us, and we ordered, among other things, the beef roulade with red cabbage and dumplings, which were perfectly seasoned and featured tender meat. Even the smaller dishes, like fish fingers with remoulade or breaded mushrooms, were delicious and beautifully presented. The prices are also very reasonable. You get really good, homemade food at prices that will make you want to come back. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive; everything was very relaxed. You can tell that genuine hospitality is still valued here. Parking was a bit limited but manageable, as the inn is located on a one-way street. The smaller dishes, like the fish fingers with remoulade or breaded mushrooms, were also delicious and beautifully presented. The prices are absolutely fair. The toilets were satisfactory, but there's room for improvement there; otherwise everything was great.
