We thought the restaurant being busy was a good sign, but we were disappointed by the dim sum served from passing trolleys. The food was nothing special, with all 10 small dishes tasting very similar. We also had tea and the bill came to 155 AUD, which we felt was overpriced. We will not be returning in the future.

I only ordered a couple of dishes from the dim sum cart, one of which was pork and jellyfish. However, I was mistakenly charged for a suckling pig dish as well. I felt like I was being ripped off by the restaurant. Despite bringing it up to the cashier, they insisted that the bill was accurate. Not to mention, the food quality was subpar as well.

My Daughter took me here on a Saturday. We didn’t book thinking it would be ok as usually Sunday is when we have always had Yum Cha. Let me tell you if you don’t book you might just miss out. The restaurant filled within 20 mins of opening and luckily for us we were able to get two seats but on a time limit of an hour before our table was booked. Anticipating great food my eyes were already feasting on trolleys pulling up to our table. No waiting, the staff were out and about with steaming bamboo steamers piled high and I can tell you that the plethora of dishes just kept coming. Did I mention the sweets trolley? I have never seen such an awesome selection and that includes places in Asia I have visited. The staff were quick with drinks and keeping an eye out to top our tea up. Unfortunately we couldn’t try everything but be assured that there is something for everyone. Be prepared to pay a bit extra than you would normally pay for yum cha which could be something to do with the size of the restaurant and it’s location, plus the many staff to keep it all flowing nicely. We had 9 steamed dishes with tea and a soft drink and our bill came to $108 I would definitely return, just to try other dim sum we missed out on. What we had was delicious and especially the mango pudding. I have yet to try their other locations around Melbourne but it’s on the cards for my next trip down to Melbourne. Definitely worth a visit but book first.

Great service, lovely food. Spacious restaurant, such a good venue for families. Handy for a bit of Docklands shopping after yum cha

A small group of old school friends, we met here for an early lunch. Hugely popular, the queue was quite extensive even at 11.30am, which indicates the quality of the food. Friendly efficient staff, great atmosphere fabulous food!
