The set up was great although the toilets were in bad repair, the staff really didn't seem to have any clue on how to wait on the guests. The menu was share plate that was just left in the middle of the table for the guests to help themselves, but the empty plates were left in the middle of the table course after course, glasses and bottles too. They had to be prompted to clear them. The food absolutely delicious, and it seemed to be the only restaurant in new quay that was open late and serving good past 9:00pm. When left at 11:30 the place was still full and food still coming out. With the quality of the food it's no wonder. The venue supplied a DJ. Great for Lebanese music but had absolutely no idea about Australian music and requests that the birthday girl made were met badly. Surely there is a decent DJ that knows both. It's Melbourne after all. I would come back though just purely for the food.

Although there was a large event taking place when we arrived, we were seated without any hassle and hardly noticed the other guests. We may have ordered more food than we could handle, but the bill was surprisingly reasonable, especially considering how delicious everything was! I'm a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, and I have to say that each dish was rich in flavor yet well-balanced, with a perfect blend of spices. The moussaka and halloumi were standouts for me. Interestingly, they also allow shisha smoking inside, which adds to the overall atmosphere. This place has definitely become a favorite of mine!
