The food was 5 star, and unexpectedly so for this sort of restaurant. The dining in Melbourne was difficult during our stay, with annoying computer booking mandatory, more limited seating and limited menus. But even given the post Covid conditions, the dining experience at this restaurant was great even down to the Benedictine after dinner. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Was taken to our seats from the friendly staff and talked through the selections. Food range was not massive, but was more than enough to give us a great start to our busy day.
The food was good, the service not so much, the wait for drinks and understanding what we wanted was slow. We had a table of 6 and then there were 3 other people in the restraurantf, so it should have been a lot better.
