Ellaray's Cafe - DISTRICT HEIGHTS

We were here several times and were never disappointed. Breakfast and lunch and dinner menu has a great variety and is always delicious. We like, above all, the oxtails, which are as delicate and well seasoned, the engraving is an excellent companion for rice and other sides. Mac and cheese, Lima beans, cabbage and cornbread are some favorites. We were never able to sit due to current environmental situations, but I am delighted to be able to experience this food through the dive lens. I don't think so often.

Hidden Gem! I had the fried pipe with Mac and cheese and greens! The fish was decent size fillets, fresh, seasoned and fried to perfection! But BABBBYYY that Mac and cheese!!!! That's all I said. I have gone past this place many times, never thought to try until an employee recently recommended. Admittedly, they have lost my order and I waited for a while for my food, but the Mac and Cheese alone made the mistake. And the man in the register gave me a mini-sweet cake for my problems, which was also good! So I won't make any points for it... The staff seemed to be in good spirits and help! What you don't find in many places. The mood was also very friendly and family like.

Today Ellas Essen was exceptional DELICIOUS!!!!! I had the Catfish dinner with cranked greens and potato salad.. Thank you for always making your BLACK Owned Business... You are always in my prayers!!
