Spice Route - Dishpur

The food was average, but the service was terrible. Considering the prices, the service should have been outstanding. However, the staff were unenthusiastic and unfriendly. The person who took our order was not knowledgeable about the dishes. The server handling the main dish even dipped her finger into the prawn dish while serving. This was unhygienic in my opinion. Additionally, they charged for a water bottle, which was a first for me in Guwahati. I would not recommend this restaurant.

You will be able to get the taste of food here in a good ambiance. Foods are tasty, service is good.

Went in for a Dinner on a Sunday night, the place was quiet and pretty empty, maybe 3-4 tables occupied. The ambiance was really nice, with the chic modern decor. We took sitting on the first floor with a balcony overlooking live much being played below. We had gone in with an aim for drinks so ordered ourselves Vegetable Mix Grill (Veg Platter) and two Chinese starters to go along with the drinks, all the items were very good and the quantity great, we were packed and ended up wasting a bit among three of us. The prices are quite reasonable for such an establishment considering we paid about Rs.2000/- for our four beers and the meal.

It's unique and actually "sizzles" compared to many "Sizzlers" available in Guwahati Food Joints. Not only is it's presentation perfect, but it also leaves a lingering taste on your taste buds which shall leave you craving for more.

Father's birthday . One of the best restaurants in Guwahati and food is oh soo delicious. It was very overwhelming when the singer out there sang for my father. The smile on his face was permanently etched that entire evening. He definitely had a blast that day. All thanks to the helpful staff and the food also did make that evening awesome.
