It was a great day because my niece got All * in CBSE Class X. So, we decided to celebrate by going out for dinner. Some of our family members visited Recipes on behalf of my niece, who lives far from us. It was drizzling outside, but the restaurant had a cool ambiance with a mezzanine floor. The food was great and the staff were nice, although they could use more employees. We enjoyed the night overall, but there was one issue with finding "manlike short hair" in the soup. Despite this, the billing was done and the service guy deducted some amount for the soup. The food quality ratings we had were as follows: Chicken Soup-*, Chicken Biryani-*, Chilli Prawns Fry-*****, Masala Kulcha-*****, Hakka Noodles-*****, Paneer Stuffed Aloo Dum-*.

With ever increasing Food Joints springing up in each and every nook and cranny of Guwahati, a foodie is nowadays spoiled for choice. From fusion food, to experimental cuisines, to Traditional to Indian or Oriental, the ever increasing competition among the Bistros has been a blessing in disguise for the Guwahati Food Circuit. While some Bistros huffed puffed and marched ahead only to lose steam mid way and give up and left as a name in oblivion, Recipe is one Bistro which has stood the taste of time and always shall be close to my heart. A friendly and welcoming Service Staff, succulent and drool worthy Indian Dishes finely blended with a posh interior, Recipe is one Bistro which among all the tough competion has stood out and shall stand out in the forseeable future. Success gets into the heads of a few and later on turns into their hubris, the same holds true for many Restauranteurs in Guwahati, but the Proprietors of Recipe were humble enough to not let success get in to their heads and even after being in the service for quite sometime, still has maintained it's quality in terms of quality, hospitality

Recipes restaurant on the G S Road in Guwahati is a 2 storey structure. They offer a variety of veg and non veg meals. They also play live music in the form of Keyboard in the evenings. Food is reasonably priced and service is fast. Taste and quality are decent. Quantity is quite good, so order carefully so that food is not wasted. Interiors are decent.However, there are many better options for meals around.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is top-notch. The location is also a big plus, making it a great choice for a fun evening out.
