We come here quite regularly for family lunches and we also order our catering here for birthdays and other parties. I really like the Chili sin carne and the various "Spieße“. They have a permanent menu and a seasonal menu, e.g. with mushrooms. Food is fresh and very good. Friendly staff. Small typically German beer garden. All vegetarian with several vegan options. What Harry Albers doesn't like about Canape:
we have been more often in canape. the food quality has suffered a lot. the lumberjack was hard. with the knife it could not be processed. the sweet paghetti were overpriced. what was praised as a main dish was at most the amount of an appetizer plate. and eating was weakly seasoned. the potato boroccoli soup was watery and without taste. we decided not to come back this year. We were on site for the first time and even allowed to bring our dog. that's giving you plus points. we were very kindly received and sat outside. all the drinks and food came flotted. eating was enough and you were fed. we would visit the restaurant again.
A beautiful, since decades in the dinslaken city / old town, good menu with remarkably good food. price performance reasonable.
Has been there several times. I like the breakfast best. Canape breakfast makes everyone satisfied. am very satisfied.
Nice service, cozy ambiente with lots of art, very family, well-stocked menu and delicious salad! the constantly changing lunch table!
I'm happy all around! it's like before: the top vegetarian in a wide circle! great extra spade but also the normal menu is very good! absolutely recommended!
