Wild Orchid - Dimāpur

A really satisfying and good quality meal! The staff is well trained and polite . Open relatively late for Dimapur standards , got dinner around 8:30pm. Kitchen is open till 9 pm ! The food : Had Indian food and it was really delicious ! Chicken malai tikka, Butter garlic naan , jeera ghee rice , chicken korma and kaala dal with tadka. Naan was exceptional ! Warm and soft and melts in the mouth ! Kaala dal was so well flavoured and had a great consistency and texture . Chicken korma and malai tikka were good too. The gravy was thick and had good flavour . The star of the show was the JEERA RICE ! Soft , warm , fluffy rice that is mildly flavoured and so rich with extra buttery /ghee flavour . Would come back again and again for jeera rice alone ! I don’t know about the other items , but the Indian dishes were excellent . Will come back again for sure !

Great restaurant, good ambience food is just awesome, have a pool on the top of the building and also have a bar. Staffs are well mannered. Overall a great restaurant in dimapur. Commonly known as Lake Shiloi.

Very poor quality rooms and some of the food smells of chlorine. The food orders are delivered very late, waiting time more than 45 minutes. Horrible stay and hopeless food! The AC doesn't work properly, electricity backup is poor! Water leaking from flush.
