Stopped in before riding Loveland pass and the bartender, Serge put a shot of pink Whitney and a lemon in my twisted tea and my mind is kind of blown. Yummy! Thank you and what an Awesome vibe here that got me more hyped to ride! I will be back! View all feedback.
What James Welsh doesn't like about 6th Alley Grill:
Amazing views and vibes, especially from the sun-drenched deck. Our food was average, and expensive, but expected for the place. Still a cool place with good staff. Sep 2022 View all feedback.
First let's just get the bad news out of the way: It's a ski area, beers cost a fortune. There's just no other way to put it. If you can get past that part, 6th Alley is the bomb. I've been going there since the early 90's. Yep, before the turn of the century! Maybe once in that amount of time have I encountered a bar tender that wasn't awesome. They always have fun people working there, people who understand the vibe and don't try to crush that. They have a great selection of brews on tap, not all IPA's which is nice for a guy like me. There are a couple tv's to check out games on, but it's tough to look there with a wall of windows on some of the best views found at any bar. The deck is a party, winter or summer! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because, well I'm not a wealthy guy and I literally have to choose whether I can afford the gas to drive home or not after a couple beers. But like I said, if you can get past that price, it's the coolest place on the Divide!
One of the more miserable dining experiences i 've ever had. Came in, ordered, and then were left alone for about 30 min. Eventually our waitress came back and said Oh...let me check on your food It was clear that they had totally forgotten.About 20 more minutes went by and people that had come in well after us were already finished eating and leaving. A little over after we originally came in, we finally got our food.I know things happen, people are human and things get forgotten. But no apology of any kind, no restitution...nothing. Even after we got our food, she never came back just to deliver the check....It wasn 't even busy, this was during the summer around 2 PM
First time in the area in our travel and our waiter Ryan was awesome. Not only did he provide excellent service he gave us some tips for our stay and was spot on. THANK YOU Ryan!!Food and beverages were also great here at 6th alley with GREAT VIEWS to compliment it all!
Went out to get a burger after doing a hike. Was excited as heard good things from others about being a great place with great vibe. The outdoor seating provides great view and the food has the potential to be great too. Unfortunately our waitress botched about everything and things took incredibly long. We had a group of 10 folks and multiple groups were seated after us and had their food/drinks before we even had our waters. The waitress messed up our food several times and my burger came out RAW, but being it had taken so long was afraid to send it back. Being it was a group of 10 she automatically got a 20% tip was not earned in the least bit. Cool location but the staffing needs significant improvement if your going to charge $20+ for a burger!
