We had a nice dinner here. Les Fils a Maman Dijon is part of a small chain (we ate at the restaurant in Montpellier) but feels original. We had a burger and the tuna as main dishes and they were both good although the burger was a little too well done. The table was small and they are close together. Normally we do not mind but because we had our dog with us, it was a very tight fit! View all feedback.
What Legal itinerant doesn't like about Les Fils a Maman Dijon:
Another one of those places where if you turn up without a reservation, the restaurant just doesn 't make any effort to accommodate you or make suggestions for another time. Just plain, sorry No . We ended up at a friendlier place next door, where the owner made some adjustments and found us a table. View all feedback.
Husband ordered the Cordon Bleu du Pere Doudou. The waiter suggested Coquillettes, Jambon a la Truffe to me. David’s looked great! Mine was a tasteless mini macaroni in bland white sauce w cold ham on top. I took one bite of the Mac and sent it back. I asked for the Cordon Bleu. While I don’t think it was anything that Julia Child would recognize, it was a tasty piece of fried chicken w bacon! And the roasted potatoes were good, too. We actually could have just shared one order… The waiter took the bad dish off without me having to ask….
Our group made a reservation weeks in advance with food choices chosen prior for a set menu. There were allergies and other dietary considerations that were not appreciated upon our arrival. For 30 people, everyone ate at different times and the food was cold. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The cordon bleu came without ham. The salad had no dressing. The crème brûlée was over cooked and tasted like scrambled eggs. Most of the chocolate fondant were cooked through. The wait staff were very kind and helpful, however the manager was not present when issues arose.
I visited this place on a cold Sunday morning, having made a reservation from the day before. The brunch menu is great as it proposes a selection of 3 different main platters (fish/meat/vegetables , a juice, coffee and an assortment of pastries (croissants etc. or a dessert, all this for a very affordable price. The portions are large and more than sufficient for a very good brunch. It’s a very small and crowded place so o recommend booking before visiting it, especially if it’s for a Sunday brunch.
This restaurant makes us fall back in childhood thanks to its atmosphere and decoration! Eat with nicky larson and ghostbusters, it's not anodin and very pleasant. The staff is as smiling as candy and the albator chief is very kind. the Flemish captain of the kitchen and his team prepare delicious dishes in record time!I recommend this restaurant.
Server and waitress really nice, with a lot of humor. all very good dishes from the charcuterie board to dessert! relatively correct price for quality. Nothing to say was good! really friendly, warm and friendly. I strongly recommend this address where we will quickly return!!
