Travelling through the area we enjoyed a dinner here. It is yet undecided whether this is a wine bar with nice food or a bistro serving good food. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, good wines and nice food. Prices are very acceptable given the overall package. Service is very friendly and attentive. It's a small place so do make a reservation. This was our last night of a two week holiday in France and it was probably (one of) the best. We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor so expectations were high. I have to say it's indeed a wonderful, unpretentious place with great food, beautiful wines and excellent service. Thank you!
A few years ago we came back from a vacation with my parents and had to stop for the night at Dijon. I fell in love with the food here, especially the Poulet de Gaston Gerard. I tried to make this recipe myself a few times but i kept thinking back about how mindblowing the food was at this city. So this vacation i came back to Dijon for a week to taste the poulet and compare the different restaurants since it’s a regional dish. At this place the food was simply amazing. The wine we chose was homebrewed and paired perfectly with the food. The poulet was really moist and tender, the Dauphinoise (creamy baked potatoes), tomatoquiche and zuchini were nice additions too. This was the best place i ever eaten, if you want to eat very good and don’t want to pay the full price for a michelin rated restaurant, this is the place to be.
If you are in dijon to taste the excellent french kitchen then you should definitely come to this restaurant! The location isn’t that special but if you are here to eat amazing food you shouldn’t care about that. Great host and great food! My personal favorite? Try the poullet supreme
