Escargot, chevre salad, ballotine, bourginon, pain perdu and tarte au citron- all excellent. We were all so full afterwards. The staff are so lovely here, they had the perfect balance between being on hand and leaving you to yourselves. I'd return in a heartbeat!

The oeufs... read more Service was excellent, even though the place was very busy. Staff are friendly. The terrine to start was delicious, home-made and a generous portion. The oeufs en meurette was very tasty. Mains of prawns and the beef bourgignon were delicious and plentiful too. Dessert of pain perdu and the cheese were very good. A good selection of wine by the glass. The St. Veran, the Croze Hermitage and the Morgon went very well with the food. Excellent value. We will definitely return.

No booking required on a quiet Tuesday visit. We choose from the 3 course special at 23 Euro which was really good value food. The beef bourguignon was amazing! the meat melts in your mouth and so much of it too. Topped off with a nice red from a selection of wines on the menu. Great little find.
