We arrived in Dijon quite late on a Sunday evening when we had booked our hotel (an entire other story), we were worried that we might not find a place to eat on foot. But we don't need to worry, we... found Chez Ali on Google and we were very impressed by the staff and the food, while not a food and not very familiar with Moroccan cuisine I enjoyed my meal and I didn't hear anyone complaining. The staff was super the ambience excellent food good and prices appropriate.
We were there on a Sunday evening the place was empty, we just went there because we could find nothing else in the area open on sunny days. I had Brik and Salat, the Brik was not brik at all, she looted and tasted like a burned crepe black on the outside, not crispy at all. The salad was fine, only pieces of tomatoes, olives and salad with a dressing from the bottle. No ham (as the menu said, but Turkish/arab Sucuk. I understand that an Arab restaurant does not serve porc, but there are many better alternatives to this very cheap sausage (Turkey hams...... . My partner had Chicken Tagine the only thing that remembered a tagine was the dish where it was served. It was mostly chicken bone with some olives and very little sauce. Since he did not want the couscous to be served, we asked for bread there was no!!!!
A éviter
