However we need not have worried, we found Chez Ali on google and we were very impressed with the staff and the food, whilst not a foodie and not being very familiar with Moroccan Cuisine I enjoyed my meal and I did not hear anyone complaining. The staff were super the ambiance excellent food good and prices reasonable.

I had Brik a... read more We were there on a sunday evening the place was empty, we also just went there because we could not find anything else in the area open on sundays. I had Brik and salad the brik was no brik at all it looked and tasted like a burned crepe black on the outside, not crispy at all. The salad was ok, just pieces of tomato, olives and salad drizzled with a dressing from the bottle. No ham (as the menu said , but turkish/arab Sucuk. I understand that an arab restaurant will not serve porc, but there are many better alternatives to that very cheap sausage (turkey ham...... . My partner had Chicken tagine the only thing that reminded of a tagine was the dish it was served in. It was mostly chicken bones with a few olives and very little sauce. As he did not want the couscous it was served with, we asked for bread there was none!!!!
