I ate a delicious 3 course dinner at L'Auberge as part of a large group and could not have been more pleased. As we like to eat in a restaurant that is about friendly service, fresh products, creative yet simple dishes and surprising desserts, this is probably one of the largest places we were at. the weinliste could probably benefit from a small extension, but apart from that this is now officially our favorite place in the opposite. the main dishes, great and the desserts....wow! and we were there with our 2,5-year-old who had his own dish of fresh fish and potato puree: loved each centimeter of it.
An excellent, pleasant and helpful service. French dishes with a delicious touch of the local chef. web sere moře as satisfied.
Second evening in digne les beignets and compare them with the first restaurant blue cerise, L’Auberge is really great. they have very tasteful eating with creative combinations! the service is great if we compare it with French, non-English speaking standard: . the waiter tries to explain everything in English and apology for not excellent English, what really is something new for us; . please note that a reservation is better. we had luck without having a table, but that was just a happy one. we will book a table tomorrow!
The restaurant is hidden in the old part of the city, but as soon as they go into it is very beautiful, and has a magnificent view of the marketplace from above. the staff seemed very nice and helpful, we chose the "plateau de charcuterie ' as an appetizer, the...only a little negatiw it had no sink, or paté, or raw ham, only various dried sausages and other things like this chorizo to an example. the main course was very nice I had the lamb, that was sukkulent then profiterole for dessert. so all in all not bad, but unfortunately was expensive,96 euro for 2 containing a koks a whisky and half a carafe rosé.
