The Wheelhouse Seafood Pasta - Digby

We drove to smith bay to enjoy the beautiful landscape and decided to lunch in the wheelhouse restaurant. what a great surprise, it was so good to eat. we all had fish of a species and we all decided that this place deserves a return next year. I had pan roasted squids and it was cooked to perfection. the lemon .was excellent. this is not only a great place to eat, but the environment of looking for smiths cove and the city of digby is spectacular. a must be visited by digby.

We loved this restaurant. Staff were very friendly and all our meals were delicious, including our homemade coconut cream and lemon meringue pies. We will definitely visit again soon.

Everything we had there was very tasty. Lovely ocean view. Leslie is super-friendly and remembers the names and preferences of repeat customers.

We drove across Nova Scotia to try this restaurant, and it was worth it! First, the service was second to none. Angela was friendly, helpful, and quick! Wow. We were expecting the food to take a while, but the staff was working extremely well together, making for a perfect evening. We didn't wait long for anything. Now the food. We had the bacon wrapped scallops and the coconut shrimp appetizers. Prepared perfectly. Delicious. For entrees, the digby scallop dinner, seafood lasagna, and the fish fricassee in lobster sauce. All were amazingly good. Dessert included coconut cream pie and peanut butter oreo cheesecake. Both were generously portioned and delicious. The cheesecake, in particular, was a highlight. This restaurant is a must if you are dining in the digby area.

Fantastic restaurant on the French Shore. Friendly staff, awesome food. I had the seafood lasagna with Caesar salad. I was thrilled by the amount of fresh seafood, including scallops. I did not have room for the homemade pie, but eyeing it through the glass case made me drool I will be back for my pie one day soon. If you are a seafood lover, head to the Wheelhouse as soon as you can.
