The place is amazingly beautiful and on a hill from where you can take great walks through fields and forest. The view from the terrace is stunning! The restaurant has delicious vegetarian and sometimes vegan options that are tied to your wishes. There is also the possibility to order vegan pizza! It's not so amazing.

Die Bedienung war sichtlich erstaunt und machte grosse Augen, als ich nach veganen Optionen fragte. Sie meinte, wir sind doch ein Steak House! Laut der Aussage der Bedienung wäre 1 Pizza (Vegitariana), wenn man den Käse weglässt, und ein Salat vegan machbar. Das fand ich enttäuschend, da ja die Beschreibung hier bei Happy Cow etwas anderes erwarten lässt. Ein Tipp Meinerseits: Im nahegelegenen Stars and Stripes gibt es versch. vegane Gerichte! (Leider noch nicht bei Happy Cow) Da kam ich voll auf meine Kosten.

We had the tasting menu and the quality was very good. The food is authentic Japanese and you pay typical Swiss prices (179,- per person for the menu.) The service was excellent. Well worth a visit if you are after authentic Japanese food.

The food was impeccable. next to the fine probier menu, we have ordered four more sushi/sashimi plates. the menu alone has very small portions but with the sushi we have just managed it. the service was very friendly and fast. the ambiente is beautiful and you can just enjoy it. also bring the additionally selectable spiessli, which are then freshly roasted on the wood charcoal, a surprising aspekt in the menu. the bark on the wood charcoal grill at the table was very good. all walks are beautifully dressed with a lot of love. this restaurant is highly recommended!
