The Lodge - Diest

Last August, we dined at this restaurant. It was not amazing, but it was acceptable. We went for dinner with friends on a Monday. There were plenty of staff, but we had to wait two hours for the menu! The steak special on Monday was the same as the steak we ordered. The portion was small, the sauce was not right, and there were many errors in the meal. The only good thing was the beautiful location of the restaurant. I visited a restaurant in the woods last year, and that experience was much better.

I'll have a good part of the mussel. My wife, sea bass with cream sauce and vegetables. Fair enough. A bottle of Belgian white wine has been offered. A bottle of wine serves a table open. High price/quality. - Weaken shift. Not for repeating.

Nice quality, service is fine, prize correct. On a warm summer day, it's delicious to eat on the terrace in the garden, in the shadow of trees.

On July 20th, my party of six went out to dinner at a restaurant. Despite the long wait for the menu, we ordered 12 steaks which turned out to be disappointing. The meat was scarce and poorly cooked, with incorrect sauces. The only redeeming quality was the beautiful location of the restaurant. Overall, it was a disappointing experience compared to a previous visit to the same restaurant last year.

The $12 steak on the menu turned out to be the same as the $23 steak. Despite ordering both, we were served small portions and the dishes were not as described. The only highlight of the experience was the beautiful location of the restaurant. Overall, we were disappointed with the food and service and would not recommend this restaurant. Last year, I had a much better dining experience at a different establishment in the same area.
