We were a group of 14 people who had the pleasure of having to enjoy a wine tasting with buffet in the best summer weather (on the day over 30 degrees), the evening on the weingut in the hof.The table was so loving and beautifully covered in the hof that we had to photograph it several times. the food was nicely decorated and high quality and extremely tasty. the service to eat (as well as the guide through the wine cellar) was simply perfect. the wee are known to be tasteful. the dessert wine tasted best for me. the dessert (pannacotta with cirschgrütze) was also excellent, as not so sweet and therefore suitable for wine. the ambiente in this beautiful courtyard was just fantastic. thanks to the team for the wonderful evening!
We had a table reserved for lunch for 12:00.Freudiger expectation was before 12:00 - unfortunately closed door. we waited a few minutes in the very nice courtyard of the good. 5-10 minutes after 12 the door was still closed, we tried it past the house - to the outside terrace - where we found the waiter, still busy with final preparations - and we were receiving unfriendly miene. we did not try to let the mood be spoiled.He instructed us to sit in the shadow. the first succeeded thanks to the sunshades that were just set up. we enjoyed the appetizer (saving gel salad highly recommended). so good. When the sun went on to the sky, the half of us sat in a praller sun. we asked the waiter politely if he could turn the big sunshades so that we get a little more shadowing - he said something incomprehensible and disappeared. we waited a few minutes - he might have to do more urgently at first - but after 10 minutes nothing had happened, the mood was there. the waiter was less and less present in the course of the stay - no question whether everything is good, no question whether we want to reorder drinks, no question whether someone still wants deserts (the order we had to give him literally).The best thing was the farewell: there he wished us a nice afternoon and we should enjoy the sun still a bit.All restaurant is together. it literally spoiled us the day. simply ignore the desire of the hospitable, instead of going into it or possibly explaining why he cannot change it and offer us another table, for example - we have never experienced that. nothing of it, not even when we responded to this claim to the farewell, that we had too much to do now, no excuse or the like.It seemed that the service area was underused - but that is a question of good management - something that can be felt to the customers is simply unprofessional.
A beautiful common dinner should be. After we entered the dining room against 18:45 we were all alone. personal was not in sight. immediately we were greeted and got a nice place at the kamin. we ordered a bottle of still water and two glasses winzersect in advance and the 4-course menu including wine-feeding for each 68 euro. the salate was good, no more and no less. there were 0.1L sweater wein. because there was never a personal stay in the dining room, nothing happened between the walks. for example, the soup, asparagus cream soup came with ham, although at the table, but was a pure fall. she tasted like roast sauce, but not after sparing. After we sat some time before the almost full tellers, the waiter redeemed us with the clean. we thought what was wrong with us, but received no excuse. we got that the thema was discussed in the kitchen - this had not followed. the main dish, asparagus with carving, was very good - but not better than elsewhere. the dessert couldn't convince us, sweater dessertvariations - because I imagined something with local reference. bananensorbet and panna cotta, where gelatine and vanille were deposited, I had neither imagined nor was the performance convincing.On the spagel cream soup was not received in the calculation, so that we were fed 155€.
We used the overnight stays in the guesthouse to visit the restaurant.We arrived the table at the fireplace.Because it was our short high-time trip,the table was very stylishly decorated.We ordered the 5-course Chefmen.It was excellent.Everything was a true taste experience.My favorite was the intercourse with the icypraline on peas-minor-styles.
