Le Postillon Hôtel Esch Sur Sûre

The hotel and the room are average, situated in a small cosy village. The service of the staff is not good nor friendly. We did not feel welcome at all. We ate at the restaurant and that was a 100% disappointment. Frozen pizza and overcooked, dry meat and some slices of curbed ham is way below the price we paid. The waiter was not friendly against the other customers (rather rude) around us. The breakfast was ok, though. I would recommend a visit to Esch-sur Sure, but do not stay at this hotel.

The experience we have had was terrible at best. The food is expensive, service is bad and the only positive thing is the view on the forest. To stop for a drink is fine but there are better restaurants in Luxembourg that can provide better service and food at the same cost. It is amazing they are still in business, we will never return and we will avoid it in the future.

It is a nice restaurant, rustic and well placed under a tower of a castle and in front a little river. The service was wonderful and nice and the price is quite good. Unlikely it is not the same for the food...not the worst but not the best of Luxembourg and as the picture shows the salad could be fresher... It could ged more stars with better quality of food.

Absolutely awful experience. Paid €12 for a frozen margarita pizza that tasted of cardboard. Friends had bland, flavourless steak. Steak wasn't cooked as we had asked. Service was slow and poor. It was hard to get a waitresses attention, and she seemed a bit scatter brained. She cleared half our table, then forgot to do the rest. Manager is an absolute nightmare, she's rude and unhelpful. When we told her we were unhappy with our meal, she shrugged and clearly couldn't care less. Place was also dirty, dead flies everywhere. Avoid avoid avoid.

Nice location with friendly staff. It was just for a night.
