Mephisto Café - Dieburg

Went for some breakfast on a beautiful German sunny day. This place has nice service and very good food. Just sit back relax and enjoy the food and life.

A year has gone since our last visit and this time we only had breakfast though two days in a row. It is always a pleasure to come back to the Mephisto. Love the food there, love that they are flexible and really friendly, love that everything is so relaxed. Had the omelette - so delicious. Big portions. Wish, we had had the time to dine there too.

The ambiente is so relaxing at the Memphisto being outside having the view over the old market place or being inside. The staff is very attentive and friendly, they know most of their regular guests. The choices for breakfast/brunch is really rich and flexible. We have eaten here several times and love it at all times of the day. The quality of the food is impeccable and the portions enormous. If you like to have a relaxed place, friendly staff and really good food, come here!

In order to get to The Mephisto, you have to know where it is located, it's not something you could easily recognize from the street, in fact, it's more of a back alley - not visible from the street type of place.But, don't let that scare you off just yet! The Mephisto has amazingly awesome food, huge portions and a great variety. It's a great place for dinner and drinks. It was so good, I ate here two consecutive days! You can also enjoy a glass of Apfelwein, it's one of those sneaky drinks... you don't know how intoxicating it is, until you stand up. The atmosphere if wonderful! Dieberg is pretty much a college town, but you couldn't tell fromt the patrons of the restaraunt. On the two nights I was there, I was the youngest [at 25] enoying the food. If I am every lucky enough to visit Dieberg again, I will most assuredly be dining here again!
