The restaurant is located in a beautiful old building and they also have a very nice terrace, service is friendly, but the food!? the free bruschettas were old, the brot was dry and tasted simply stale. the green salat was old and wild. and. the most important courses were served with frozen vegetables. in the middle of the summer? the waiter explained that the kitchen had fled from fresh. somehow I couldn't buy it. the open wine they served gave me and my man a headache, although we couldn't drink much, because he just tasted badly. What a waste!
We had a great meal here about the holidays. the owner and the waiters were very friendly and spoke with my host family a little English. it is not the cheapest restaurant in the city, but they don't let the feeling as if they had wasted their money.
Beautiful ambience, but three foods were forgotten, the waiter was not attentive: everything seemed overwhelmed.
Had a great dining experience! BYO festunggold is a great incentive to bring in new customers, and the dynamic seating layout was a clear winner on the day. 5 stars.
Just in the summer we always like to visit the Il Castello. You sit on an elevated terrace overlooking a beautifully landscaped garden. Especially the pasta dishes and the appetizers but also the dishes after season (spargel, pifferlings, etc. are highly recommended. We have never been disappointed by the wine offered and recommended.
