Sitting in the market square feels like a vacation! The pizza is delicious! Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. Hardly a kind word or a smile, and apart from two employees, everyone seems unenthusiastic. Since the change of ownership to Ramo, we regular customers no longer feel as comfortable. It's a shame, and also a cause for concern considering the upcoming VAT increase! I hope the team takes the reviews to heart and makes some changes before the number of customers dwindles. That would be very sad. I also think that a coffee at 10 p.m. should be possible if the restaurant is still open for over an hour. The customer should be king if you want the business to thrive! Now they've banned dogs! That's inconsiderate! Anyone who excludes man's best friend, who has absolutely done nothing wrong, is spineless. I won't spend another cent here, even though it's sad. I used to enjoy coming here and ate at least twice a week for the last 10 years; today was the last time! And I will make my opinion public as often as possible! In my eyes, the owner has failed!!! Dear dog owners, there are still many dog-friendly restaurants (see picture)! Don't leave your dogs alone when you go out to eat!!!!
The seating is very pleasant, and the food is delicious. (Although I doubt that the schnitzels advertised as being from the pan are actually from the pan. Unfortunately, there are often long waits, which you are unfortunately not informed about when ordering. With all due respect for the backbreaking work in the restaurant industry, waiting 20 minutes for three simple drinks is simply too long in midsummer temperatures, as is waiting an hour for food for three people. I suspect there are simply too few staff in every area, and they eventually become overworked, which is unfortunately reflected in the declining friendliness. This is a matter for the management and personnel planning.
I 'll do this very quickly because I left the place very quickly. First of all: in Frankfurt 's Sachsenhausen district, at two good, mid priced proper Italian restaurants white tablecloths, etc. , spaghetti Bolognese costs a whopping €10 in both restaurants August 2025 . And here? I can 't believe it! A whopping €16.90!!! Simply IMPOSSIBLE. Definitely not justifiable. Basta! :
The pizza was very good and reasonably priced. The chicken burger was also great.
