Country Nook - Didsbury

I wanted to explore a new restaurant in a quaint little town, and I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the all-day breakfast - it's hearty and reasonably priced.

Love love love this place Angela has made this place the go to spot. Home made food and service second to none. The pride and craftsmanship into their food shows. I have not had a bad meal here and I have tried most of the menu. For food second to none and at fair prices stop by the Country Nook and satisfy your hunger

I had visited the Country Nook a couple times years ago for breakfast while visiting family. It looks a bit strange from the outside and is small, but the meals were always simply done and well prepared. My solo experience for lunch today was much the same. The hamburger steak caught my eye, as it was being brought to another customer just while I was grabbing a seat. After reviewing the breakfast and lunch menu (which is all they do while open between 6:30 am and 2:30 pm) I couldn't shake the steak from my head and ordered it. It took a while to get to the table, which I took as a good sign. When it arrived I was not disappointed. On top of the crispy grill-seared hamburger steak sat grilled onions topped with a delicious brown gravy. I ordered fries as my side - also crispy and well executed - which came with green bean vegetables. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal as it was exactly what I'd hoped it would be when ordering. This is a good place if your looking for a simple, friendly breakfast or lunch experience.

Small restaraunt, that has a great small town feel and welcome. Excellent value for your meal, with excellent proportions. also a good variety of foods are available.
