We thought we beat... read more **Restaurant Review** My husband and I decided to visit the drive-thru, pleasantly surprised to find only one other car in the parking lot. We thought we beat the lunchtime rush! However, we were taken aback when the drive-thru operator greeted us with, “If you want to come in, I’ll take your order, honey.” I asked if the drive-thru was closed, but received no reply. Hesitantly, we parked, and I took a moment to freshen up. Unprepared for the inside, we stepped out only to discover four cars waiting at the drive-thru window! We should have rejoined the line, but we didn’t. Inside, we noticed four employees working and two customers waiting at the counter to place their orders. After quite a while, they were finally helped, which led me to wonder if the restaurant had just opened. However, it became evident that wasn’t the case, as many tables were dirty. The staff appeared neither attentive nor rushed. An older couple joined the line behind us, and when we placed our order, we were told my grilled chicken sandwich would take 10 to 15 minutes if we wanted to wait. I agreed. At 12:20, we received some bitter, stale sweet tea and sat at the cleanest of the grimy tables we could find. By 12:30, I decided to wash my hands in the unpleasantly smelling restroom, hoping our food would arrive while I was away. Unfortunately, when I returned, I was disappointed to see that the older couple behind us had received their food, asked for sauce, and finished their meals before ours even started. During this time, the man who had ordered just before us asked for a refund and left, presumably due to the long wait. Another couple came in and waited about 10 minutes at the counter, trying to get someone’s attention at the pickup area but ultimately left without assistance. I noticed what seemed to be the manager in the back of the kitchen making a phone call while stirring something, completely unaware of the disarray around her. Three new customers came in, picked up their food, and left, likely having ordered through the app. At 12:47, our name was finally called, and my husband went to retrieve our food from the pickup counter. My chicken sandwich was messy, the macaroni and cheese was bland, and I didn’t even receive my sweet potato pie. My husband’s bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit had undercooked bacon, the fries were well-seasoned but neither fresh nor warm, and the six Bo-Berry biscuits were tough and overcooked, lacking freshness. After wasting an hour and spending $30, we definitely won’t be returning anytime soon. Honestly, I would rate this place zero stars.

The food is warm and don’t forget to try Bojangles blueberry cookies! We tried one. They are baked on the premises and will be served starting April 1st.

The biscuits are unbeatable—you can really taste the buttermilk, and they’re perfectly crispy on the outside. Even when they cool down, they still taste great. The ham always looks freshly cooked. Whenever I’m near a Bojangles, my crew knows exactly what that means—it’s Bo’ time!

Each visit was a pleasant experience with the drive-thru staff. I wish I had caught their names—they were both friendly, helpful, and kind, which is rare to find these days. One visit was at lunchtime, and the other was for dinner.
