I have the lamb chops, the pork chops, the delicate medallions, the red fish and the bananas promote bread pudding! It is a New Orleans inspired kitchen! I have to try. It's worth it!

I'm a big fan of the drinks, desserts, brunch, and the overall ambiance of the place! All the staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming! It's truly a hidden gem! I can't wait to go back very soon! I would definitely give it a 10/10 recommendation!

I found this restaurant for Houston Restaurant weeks so I chose from the preset menu, and I also made it in time for happy hour! The highlight of my meal was the praline cheesecake....which was so different from what I was expecting but still very very good! A perfect mixture of cheesecake and praline....a must try item! I also enjoyed the few pieces of okra in the black-eyed peas and stuffed fish I had. I wasn't crazy about the jambalaya, too mushy for me, but I'm also partial to eating only homemade jambalaya from my Grandmother. Overall a great experience and a nice meal. Parking took a little minute to figure out, park behind the BBQ place! I will be back to try other items, I truly enjoyed my visit! :

For our main courses, I had the steak... read more Always a fantastic choice for date night! We opted for the Valentine's special menu, starting with the Lump Crab Cocktail. For our main courses, I had the steak, while my partner enjoyed the lobster. We both indulged in the red velvet cheesecake for dessert. We also shared some delightful raspberry martinis, with a few extra rounds added on. Everything was delightful! Our waiter, Aaron, was incredible and provided outstanding service. Overall, we had a wonderful time with delicious food and great service at Marais!
