The waitress didn’t bring the bread until we were almost done with our meal. The appetizer was expensive but very bland. The main course was equally disappointing and lacked flavor. Dessert was the only highlight of the meal. While their brunch has always been good, we won’t be coming back for dinner. When we shared our disappointment about the appetizer with the staff, they seemed indifferent and didn’t apologize, only saying they would inform the chef. With so many great restaurants available, we won’t settle for mediocrity here.

Our party enjoyed a wonderful selection of appetizers—those deviled eggs were a highlight—and the main courses were delicious. My husband’s Bourbon Street redfish was superb, the crab cakes were filled with sweet, tender crab meat, and the fried shrimp were juicy and perfectly crispy with a cornmeal coating. Joall Mex provides the perfect atmosphere for an intimate sunset gathering, making the dining experience even more memorable.

The coffee-rubbed steak was remarkably tender, and the beignets served with French press coffee instantly reminded us of our time in New Orleans. The menu offers a delightful array of dishes that make Joall Mex a destination worth visiting. We will definitely be coming back!
