Solid Ground - Diamond Springs
Solid Ground
Description
Solid Ground Brewery offers a mixed experience characterized by delightful food and inconsistent service. Diners rave about the delicious burgers and fish tacos, while the cozy atmosphere and efficient drink service generally receive praise. However, complaints about rude staff and poor customer service permeate reviews, with many feeling ignored or unwelcome. Although some appreciate the extensive beverage selection, others find it lacking in excellence. For guests seeking a relaxed spot to enjoy good food and drinks, Solid Ground remains a solid choice, but potential patrons should be prepared for varying service experiences.

Don't bring your pet. A total preschool playground. Kids jumping on tables, running around, smashing into our backs. Our puppy, PUPPY, barked because he wanted to play too and we got kicked out without compensation for our meal or beer that we had to leave behind. Screaming kids vs. a 10 month old puppy. Either don't allow pets or make parents control their kids. We will NEVER be back again.
This place was exactly what El Dorado County needed. Great selection of beers, ciders and wines! The staff are super friendly and the patio is dog friendly.
We decided to give this restaurant another chance since our local breweries were closed. Unfortunately, the customer service here was extremely lacking! Not only was I ignored, but I also saw others being overlooked while we waited for assistance. A little friendliness would go a long way; come on, ladies, it's not so hard to smile! There was no conversation or warmth from the staff while they attended to customers. I inquired about their various beverages on tap, but not once was I offered a sample. I specifically mentioned that I can't drink anything sweet, as it makes me feel ill, and the staff member responded as if she couldn’t care less. It was quite an unfortunate experience!
