The night staff William is an ultimate professional. He was kind enough to call me before I checked to advise me that there are constructions going around the area so he advised me to take a different route. He is always cordial and customer driven. View all feedback.
What Brittany J doesn't like about Holiday Inn Diamond Pomona, An Ihg:
My husband and I went to DBs around 3pm today (Sunday)... extremely disappointed. We were seated right away, but nobody came to take our food or drink order. After about 15/20 min of sitting and waiting to order a drink we walked out. We would understand if it was busy, however the waitstaff were standing by the bar talking and the restaurant only had about 5 or 6 tables all together. Waitresses were walking right pa... I enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend. The rooms are modern and stylish, the staff are friendly and they have DOVE dispensers near the sink and in the shower. Gone are the days of boutique soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotions. From a guy who doesn’t like that sticky, oily feeling I’m glad Holiday Inn is using Dove the stuff I use at home. The bathroom is very modern and on par with newly built homes. The bed sheets and pillows were clean and beautiful and is on the same level as any high end hotel chain. Definitely recommend this Holiday Inn.Rooms: The rooms are average sized for a hotel of this size. The room is very updated with beautifully textured bathroom tiles, Koher sink and fixtures, textured sheets and fluffy pillows.Safety: Diamond Bar is a very safe area. The fact that this hotel is situated around high tech companies and offices means virtually no pedestrian or foot traffic.
A very cozy hotel. My family slept well here. The linens and sheets were clean and comfy. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Check in process was easy and the kids liked the rooms. Plenty of parking., and nice view from the hotel. Currently they’re having 50% off margaritas. The bar area is pretty big for a hotel and is rightly staffed. We had a good time here and look forward to our next visit here.Rooms: Clean rooms. Nice bathroom., water pressure could be a little better though.Safety: Area is clean and no major hazards reported.Food drinks: The breakfast is good., buffet satisfied.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Other than no free breakfast this place was AMAZING. Everything was very clean in the room and the bed/ pillows were really comfy. The employee working the front desk, Oscar, was extremely nice upon check-in. I would live here if I that was a thing. Plenty of parking. Would stay again.
LOCAL GUIDE REVIEW As a native to the area, I can vouch that this Holiday Inn is the best hotel in the area.PROS Spacious rooms, affordable, great fitness center, swimming pool, and jacuzzi. Located near the city center, a short drive to the nearest supermarket or eatery. Specifically, a ton of authentic Asian food! Great location half an hour away from Disneyland, Knott’s, and an hour or more away from the beach, Downtown LA, and Universal Studios.CONS Located near the two highways (CA 57/CA60), so rooms facing towards the highway may be a bit noisy with the window open. Dining option is not the best, overpriced and not much variety, I’d suggest finding food elsewhere. If you are a tourist, it’s difficult to get places without a car, especially places that are farther away. The buses aren’t that great, and there’s no other form of public transportation.SUMMARYIf you’re looking for an affordable and good quality hotel that’s near the action of LA and Orange County, this is the perfect hotel to satisfy your needs.
