The sushi is fresh, big, and for a VERY reasonable price! The lady is very nice! I've been coming back since! All of my co-workers have said nothing but nice things about this cute cafe. View all feedback.
What Jesus C doesn't like about Blooming Cafe:
Wow never have i had a place lie to me about there prices. The food was okay however i had the lady tell me the food was 5$ for a soup after it says 3.50 on the menu and it was also an updated menu which had many things cut out from it unlike yelp says... food was okay i guess not bad but defintally not worth coming back either. My ownly reason for originally coming was for some soup @8 in the morning so if its one o... View all feedback.
What a filthy establishment. I walked in and immediately walked out. The place is extremely cluttered. Service: 1/5.
I ordered the California roll and Kimbap, and my food arrived in about 15 minutes, with all the ingredients tasting incredibly fresh. The California rolls came with 10 pieces instead of the usual 8, and they had a unique, flatter appearance compared to those at other Japanese restaurants. Each roll was generously filled with cucumber, avocado, crab meat, and even fish roe. The Kimbap was equally impressive, arriving with 11 pieces (though one was larger, so it could easily be cut into 12). Each piece contained egg, cucumber, carrot, crab meat, fish cake, and daikon radish. The prices were quite reasonable compared to many restaurants these days (I've attached a picture of the updated menu for reference). The owner was very friendly and asked if I enjoyed my meal, which added to the welcoming atmosphere of the place. While I didn’t notice any sushi rolls on the menu, I appreciate the friendly service and delicious food. I’m looking forward to supporting this local business and plan to return for lunch sometime.
I was really disappointed with this restaurant. I've never encountered a place that misrepresents its prices like this. The food was decent, but when I ordered soup, the server told me it was $5, even though the menu clearly stated it was $3.50. Plus, the menu was updated and had several items removed, which wasn't reflected on Yelp. Overall, the food was just okay—not bad, but definitely not worth coming back for. I only came here because I wanted some soup at 8 in the morning, but I wouldn't recommend it, especially since there are better options out there.
I visited this hidden gem with a friend after school, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the sushi combo, which is available on Thursdays. It included four pieces of tempura rolls, six pieces of another roll (which I can't recall), a side salad, and a bowl of miso soup, all for about $9. The food was fresh and delicious, and it took only around five minutes to prepare. I can't believe I haven't discovered this place sooner! Overall, the food quality was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The service was outstanding as well, provided by a very friendly husband and wife team. If you're looking for a quick sushi spot, I highly recommend this place!
Great spot with friendly staff and delicious food. The ambiance, complemented by the music, adds an extra touch. Considering the prices, this is definitely the go-to place for breakfast or lunch.
