Venu Biriyani - Dhundgal

When someone heard Dindigul biriyani, they will think about thalappakatti. But best dindigul briyani is Venu briyani. Wow.. i love their juicy spicy mutton briyani , Mutton kola Urundai and Kalakki.. ☺️☺️

Don't understand why people throng this place though the biriyani is not so tasty. Might be a craze that Anything costly comes with the higesht quality. Which is not the case with this case. Because, the standrad has come down from the last time I visited here about 2 years back. Not only that the dish comes at a heavy. Even an ordinary idli ( served cold) is charged Rs.12 each while a small plate ( a quarter) of Biriyani is priced at Rs.100/- inside the AC hall besides the Govt 's hefty tax rate.

The taste was average. There were no big varietes. The quatity served was very little. Old name has been wasted

We visited Venu after a trip to Madurai, the Food capital of tamil Nadu. So, our expectations were low given that we'd already had the best of what the state had to offer in terms of non-veg fares. But Venu Biryani blew our minds. From the succulent and hot Kola Urundai (Kheema balls) to the Mutton Biryani everything was great tasting, served with cleanliness in mind and was of great quality. If ever you are passing through Dindugal, this is a must-visit spot for lunch. So time it accordingly

The biriyani and non veg dishes served at this hotel are tasty. The price is some what costly.Other dishes available are idly,dosage, chicken curry, soups,mutton fry etc.
