Service is ALWAYS great, food has been excellent every time we've gone here. I travel A LOT around the US, and I use this place as the benchmark standard for great food, service and value for the money. So far, I've not been to ANY other Mexican restaurant anywhere else that measures up to this place!!! Love it View all feedback.
What Dawn W dislikes about Ameca:
When I got home, the taco meat was cold, and one of the tacos had barely any meat in it. The queso fundido was only lukewarm, and some of the cheese wasn’t even melted. On a positive note, my husband had the ranchero special, and he said his dish was warm. View all feedback.

I really like the new bar area!
I visited this restaurant with three friends, and we had a disappointing experience. One of my friends ordered cheese enchiladas, which came out cold in the center. Two others ordered fajitas, but it took ten minutes for the tortillas to arrive. When we went to pay, the person at the register was on the phone and completely ignored me. He took my credit card, processed the payment without even looking at me, and just slid the receipt for me to sign without saying a word or expressing any gratitude. Overall, I was very dissatisfied and will not be returning. I will also advise everyone I know to avoid this place. It reflects poorly on the town of DeWitt and is quite embarrassing.
The people were friendly, the place was clean, and the fajitas were absolutely delicious. If you're passing through Dewitt, it's definitely worth a stop!

I placed an order at 6:10 PM and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Despite waiting for 30 minutes, I decided to leave and wait elsewhere. It was clear that they were busy when I eventually arrived.
I have been searching for a good Mexican restaurant in rural Arkansas and finally found one that exceeded my expectations. I asked my server for recommendations and he did not disappoint.
