The Lighthouse Dewey Beach

Make no mistake, this is a Bar and that's all it is. I thought it was an upscale restaurant. Totally my fault, but still the Service was rushed by a young Server that didn't seem to know what she was doing. The food was standard Bar grub, with a very limited menu. The View is the best thing about it. I won't be back.

Great place. All sports games were on multiple screens. Locals hang out in off season. Don't let aggravated sports fans that want to watch their team bring you down, staff does their best to accommodate everyone.

Best atmosphere you can find...Like their happy hour hot dog sliders with house chips and the smoked fish appetiser.

A cool place. Basic bar fare. Crowded and noisy, but that's to be expected. I was here in November, I can't imagine the crowd in the summer. I'm always impressed when the servers do a great job under stressful conditions, and they did a great job. I ordered a simple burger and fries. Fries were decent. Burger was great! Cooked perfect and delicious.

So I only gave 4 stars because this is our first time. It may be a fluke. Everything was great. The food was great. The nachos were in the top 5 we've had and I would even go so far as to say in the top 3. The pulled pork was usual and customary. Done good. Layer after layer and every layer has some goodness. The service was great. Polite server. They even accommodated a couple special orders. We loved it.
