My favorite spot in Devonport! Each day offers a variety of options, making it tough to decide what to order. Nomad caters to those with special dietary needs and the ambiance of the restaurant is so inviting. I absolutely adore it!
I have visited Nomad a few times while in Devonport and it is a hidden gem. The food is always well-prepared, with a variety of vegan options and cakes available. The cafe itself is a fun and cozy place to relax in. During my most recent visit, I tried the vegan Okonomiyaki pancake which was fantastic, while my Mum enjoyed the daal with a dosa, which was equally delicious. For dessert, we indulged in a coffee muffin and chai cookie, both of which were delightful. Another great feature is that you can order coffee from the shop next door and have it brought to your table. My soy flat white was perfect. Overall, one of the best parts of my trip so far.
There may be limited lunch choices, but that's actually a positive! The dishes are made with fresh ingredients and offer unique flavors that you wouldn't typically find elsewhere.
I enjoyed a delicious Okonomiyaki while my husband indulged in Aloo Chats at this quiet and cozy cafe with an abundance of plant life.
Okonomiyaki delish, staff great, cake worth eating, there was none left for me!
