Reviews summary
Nestled in the heart of the city, this restaurant offers a delightful atmosphere paired with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. Many guests rave about the appealing dishes, from creamy mushroom soup to a light cauliflower sandwich, although some found certain items underwhelming. The service shines with attentive staff, though experiences can vary, with occasional moments of disconnect. The ambiance creates a cozy, greenhouse-like setting, perfect for both casual dining and intimate gatherings. Despite some service hiccups, the overall experience melds good food and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a worthwhile destination for a night out.
Was Anonym at Terrain Cafe a mag?
Had reservation for 7, was not allowed to sit until then, and they were 10 min late for our reservation, food was amazing and drinks were as well. Wanted to sit inside bc it was freezing outside, they were nice and put us in the bar at least View all feedback.

Bridget was awesome. And that word is used a lot but AWESOME IS CORRECT. The service was as amazing as the food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was good, especially the appetizers. Most event staff were kind. The outside part of the venue is very plain and empty, so rental furniture had to be brought in for outside evening seating and comfort. Also, there is adjacent shopping so it is very open to the public. The inside was simple but pretty when decorated. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other
Terrible service. Came for a nice lunch by myself. Ordered 1 glass of wine with my lunch and had to ask over 3 times to get it. I drank all of my water with my meal they never refilled and I had to ask for both again and finally got my wine when I was finished eating. The annoyance totally ruined what was supposed to be a nice lunch. Do better Food: 4 Service: 3

Terrain consistently provides high-quality and tasty lunch options on its kids' menu. The brioche-style rolls for the burgers and grilled cheese are always a favorite. Hats off to the skilled chefs who consistently get it right! Additionally, the portions are quite generous.
The Sprouts Salmon was flawless, served alongside broccoli, sweet potatoes, and roasted corn. The falafel appetizer was also outstanding, accompanied by a delicious sauce and arugula. The combination of flavors was just perfect. I truly loved it!
Terrible experience. We waited an hour for our order to be prepared, and they ended up forgetting half of it. The food was average at best, very overpriced, and definitely not worth it.
The pork shoulder was excessively greasy and tough. The carrots were undercooked and not properly peeled. I was quite disappointed.

Overall, I would say this restaurant is fairly average. The ambiance is charming, thanks to the lush greenery. However, I went there on a Saturday around 1 PM for late brunch, and the service was quite slow. My friend and I ordered just a single plate of avocado toast, and we ended up waiting about 35 to 45 minutes for it. Our server seemed a bit too relaxed and took her time. While the avocado toast was tasty, I'm not sure it would be worth a special trip back.
The restaurant's location and greenhouse atmosphere were absolutely beautiful, and the drinks were excellent. Our server, Georgia, was warm and attentive, answering all our questions. Unfortunately, we had a hiccup when our order arrived with the wrong sides. When we requested a correction, the manager's response was quite unhelpful. I also noticed that our cheese board was messy compared to others that were beautifully presented. Furthermore, the bowls we received had very little dressing and lacked flavor, which made us feel somewhat unwelcome, as if we didn’t fit in with the usual crowd. Regrettably, we will not be returning.

Absolutely wonderful experience. We had made a reservation to make sure we had seats. Better safe than sad. Great service by the staff. Lauren was very attentive. The cauliflower sandwich was delicious somehow felt light. All cocktails were super winter margarita, fire brigade and First Snow were made perfect. Would recommend and like to come back!
We came to brunch and I was blown away. It was basically like eating a brunch in a greenhouse and we were very impressed by the vibes and ambience! The food and drink menu was fantastic I definitely recommend the breakfast board and the salted caramel espresso martini. The house bread (in clay pot) was super unique, delicious and fun too! From the beginning to the end, that was hands down one of the best places I have ever been to get Brunch and I would highly recommend for everyone if you are looking for a unique culinary experience!
Came to brunch on Sunday and I loved it. My family and I all tried the cookies butter latte the caramel apple cider, both were great. We ordered a cheeseboard and it tasted as good as it looked. The French toast was amazing!! The service was great, our waitress was very nice and attentive. Of course, the restaurant itself is also beautiful, I will return.
This is a great place for brunch! The food was delicious with a great price! We ordered the breakfast board and it was amazing! However, the bread was a litter over toasted and it tasted really dry and was hard to eat.
Perfect place to spend whole Sunday from Brunch to Dinner because they also have garden area you can shop! There’s also Anthropology right next to it so you won’t get bored all day here. I recommend to visit this place during brunch time because they serve the same dishes but just more pricier during the dinner time! I believe it was peach and blackberry season, so they had many blackberry and peach dishes. We really loved about the vibes food presentation. They served a flowerpot bread with freshly made strawberry butter (salted), and they were surprisingly really good to eat together, which made me want to make this combo at home! [Blackberry refresher]: This drink was not sweeten, so you may have to add your own sweetener, but overall it was really refreshing to clear your mouth after you finish your meal. [Blackberry white mocha latte]: I didn't tasted really strong blackberry taste or white chocolate, but the overall flavor was harmonized and very smooth taste. [Beef Coulotte]: they cooked the beef pretty good, it was soft tender. The presentation was really beautiful colorful, but I think it's a bit pricy compare to its portion. [Harvest bowl]: MUST TRY DISH!!! Everything in this bowl was really good individually or all together. This is a vegan dish but you can add protein (I added chicken). I may come back to have this dish with other proteins.
